Important Note: The above referenced bulletin regarding an ICD-10 compliance date of 10/01/2014 was correct when it was published. However, on 04/01/2014 the federal “Protecting Access to Medicare Act of 2014 (HR 4302)” was enacted, with a provision that delays the implementation of ICD-10 for at least one year, to at least October 1, 2015. As a result, additional federal guidance is needed regarding the implementation of ICD-10. MDH is evaluating the impact of the delay and will publish any updates as further information becomes available.
