Task force will make recommendations on achieving simplification and uniformity in the submission of anesthesia bills. Accomplishments: Recommendations for billing anesthesia services were presented to the AUC in a report. After the TAG incorporated discussion of timelines and costs for compliance, the recommendations were accepted by the AUC. The process for incorporating the recommendations into the CMS 1500 Manual have been discussed and implemented by the Data Definitions TAG.
