Charge and mission statement of work

To monitor state and federal legislative activity related to administrative uniformity, to develop AUC-identified legislative proposals, and to review the Administrative Simplification Act for necessary changes/updates.

Work plan and/or accomplishments

Under the direction of the AUC Operations Committee:
  • The TAG is undertaking a comprehensive review of the MN Administrative Simplification Act to identify out of date references, inaccuracies, or technical errors.
  • The TAG is also working to consider legislative options regarding application of the eligibility standard requirement to other MN group purchasers.

Work product to be developed

Periodic updates to AUC Operations Committee on legislative initiatives including their potential impact and status;
Research and development for proposed MN legislative changes that may lead to enhanced administrative uniformity.
