The Diabetes in Minnesota Report

Diabetes in Minnesota is a continuously updated compilation of population health data and research relevant to diabetes and its complications in Minnesota. It is published by the Minnesota Department of Health - Minnesota Diabetes Program, with funding from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

The purpose of the report is to:

  • Define the magnitude of diabetes in Minnesota
  • Monitor trends in diabetes risk behaviors, risk factors, complications, and death
  • Monitor trends and quality in diabetes care practices, utilization, and resources
  • Assess diabetes disparities
  • Support, inform, and influence program planning and policy making
  • Monitor Minnesota’s progress toward state and national diabetes objectives

If you would like a paper copy of the report, we recommend creating a 3-ring binder so that you can add new or replace old chapters as we update the online report. Click here to print the cover and spine graphics for use with a 2-inch wide 3-ring binder.
