Description: Registration is open for staff in LOCAL and TRIBAL HEALTH DEPARTMENTS to attend this training and networking event. There is no fee for the event, but if you want to have lunch, there is a $9.95 fee. The agenda includes networking time in the morning and two breakout sessions where participants can choose 2 of 3 learning sessions. The Learning sessions are meant to teach specific tools and then spend time using the tools. Participants are encouraged to bring small teams, but individuals are also welcome. The Learning Sessions include customer needs and requirements, problem definition, root cause analysis and 5 whys and swim lane mapping. The meeting starts at 8:30 am and goes until 3:00 pm and will be located at the South Central Service Cooperative in Mankato. To register, please go to the link listed. The MN QI Community of Practice is open to any and all staff from local and tribal health departments to come together with the goal of learning and sharing knowledge related to quality improvement, performance management and accreditation. This virtual community has meetings every other month and once a year comes together in-person to learn and network.
