Who Pays? Taking the Maze Out of Funding

Information for Parents and Professionals

Presented by: Minnesota Children and Youth with Special Health Needs (MCYSHN)

This training is designed to inform both families and professionals about a wide range of potential funding sources using a manual developed by MCYSHN staff. The goal is to help persons know what programs and resources exist in order to improve access to health care and more effectively advocate for children, youth, young adults and their families. The content in the training is geared towards all children and youth, including but not limited to those with special health needs. It includes major funding programs, other possible funding options, and "tools" to help in identifying funding resources.

MCYSHN typically holds 1-2 fall metro area maze trainings each year. There currently are no open Maze Trainings available. If you want to be notified when upcoming trainings are scheduled, subscribe to MCYSHN News (upper left hand corner of this web page) or to learn more about arranging a small group training session, go to: http://www.health.state.mn.us/divs/fh/mcshn/finres.htm#whopays.
