Minnesota Preventative Health Screening Survey for Child Care Professionals, 2010
In 2009, staff from the Minnesota Department of Health, the Minnesota Early Childhood Comprehensive System’s Interagency Leadership Team, and the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) Child Development Services team and a state child care health consultant developed an online survey for Minnesota licensed family- and center-based child care providers. The purpose of the survey was to identify:

  • Current baseline knowledge and practices of licensed child care providers on pediatric preventive screening.
  • Educational resources such as health screening materials for parents and providers in licensed facilities.
  • Training topics (needs and interests) for licensed child care providers.
