Quality Improvement Unit Supervisor

Chelsie has worked with MDH as a planner since 2009, and currently oversees state and local efforts to increase the application of performance management and quality improvement in public health. She has managed and evaluated the former CHAAP process, led the redesign of the current Local Public Health Assessment and Planning process, and has also staffed SCHSAC and SCHSAC workgroups. Prior to joining MDH, Chelsie worked as a planner with Carver County Public Health, managing the county's assessment and planning process, and providing support to the Carver County Health Partnership and Community Foundation for Carver County. Chelsie received her BS in Nursing from the University of Minnesota.

Quality Improvement Consultant - Local Departments

Andrea provides technical assistance to local and tribal health departments regarding quality improvement processes and initiatives. Prior to joining MDH, Andrea worked with Olmsted County Public Health in Continuous Improvement and as a Sanitarian, and has sat on the board for the Community Food Response in Rochester. Andrea received her MS in Project Management from Saint Mary's University.

Quality Improvement Consultant

Louise manages training and technical assistance projects for MDH and local public health related to quality improvement and accreditation. Before coming to MDH, her work focused on planning, implementing and evaluating community health education and training programs, mainly in Guyana, South America. Louise received her MPH in health behavior and health education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Communications

Allie manages communications and online content for the Office of Performance Improvement teams, including the QI Unit. She has worked previously with the Minnesota Department of Human Services, the State Health Access Data Assistance Center (SHADAC) at the University of Minnesota, and with the Minnesota Chapter of the American Physical Therapy Association. Allie received her MPH in policy and administration from the University of Minnesota School of Public Health.
