Healthy Eating in Licensed Childcare and Preschool Settings
City of Bloomington Public Health Division
A large number of child cares/preschools in Bloomington, Edina, and Richfield lacked a nutrition policy that included nutrition best practices. This problem combined with limited BPH staff to provide TA and carry out the SHIP intervention created a need for a structured, focused approach to achieve nutrition policy improvement/adoption.
