Vending machine choices are usually high in fat, calories, and sugar. For many organizations, replacing all unhealthy items in their vending machines with all healthy choices may not be realistic. Switching to healthier vending choices may require replacing equipment with machines that can accommodate more desirable products. MDHFS is exploring strategies to encourage healthy choices.
