Tools for Staff Assessment and Workforce Planning: Core Competencies for Public Health Professionals
This program was also presented as a concurrent session at the 2012 Community Health Conference.
Local public health leaders are ever mindful of the staff development needs of their departments. The Council on Linkages between Academic and Public Health Practice (with support from the Public Health Foundation) has developed a set of Core Competencies for public health professionals. Please join us to learn more about this competency framework, and see two recently developed tools put into practice by the Stearns County Public Health Division of Human Services.
