Monthly Accreditation Coordinator Calls
Monthly Local and Tribal Public Health Accreditation Calls
The Office of Performance Improvement will host monthly calls for local and tribal health departments who are strongly interested in national public health accreditation. Content for the monthly calls will focus on how departments can prepare for the accreditation process.
Topics include: Pre-application preparation, the Accreditation Coordinator position description, and review of the documentation guidance from the Public Health Accreditation Board (PHAB). A list of additional topics of interest to the group will be generated during the initial call.
- These calls are designed for departments planning to apply for accreditation, but who have not yet begun the application process with PHAB.
- PHAB provides support for accreditation coordinators after a department submits an accreditation application.
The content of these calls will be supported by the PHAB Accreditation Coordinator Handbook (PDF: 677KB / 27 pages).
