Positive Alternatives Grant Application
2012-2016 Grant Application
Recently passed legislation has amended the eligibility for grants section of M.S. 145.4235, the Positive Alternatives statute. Under the new language, eligible organizations will now be required to have had an alternatives–to–abortion program in existence for at least one year as of July 1, 2011. This is a change from the previous legislation requiring that a program be in existence at least one year prior to 2005. Consequently, the January 26, 2012 Positive Alternatives application has been nullified and a new application has been posted below. Each applicant to the January 26, 2012 RFP is being given the option of having its application returned or having the application retained as a response to the re–issued RFP.
