Gillette Specialty Children's Healthcare
A multi-specialty children's hospital located in St. Paul, Minnesota. Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare, in collaboration with the Minnesota Department of Health, Shriners Hospitals for Children, and the Twin Cities Spine Center, provide training on scoliosis screening for school nurses in Minnesota. Minnesota Department of Health School Health Nursing Program
The School Health Nursing web site is an essential component in the school nurse consultation provided by the Minnesota Department of Health staff. This site is structured to provide complimentary information, resources and technical assistance to school nurses as its primary audience.  To learn more about scoliosis and the School Health Nursing Program, please select "A-Z Resource List" and search under "S" for Scoliosis.

Scoliosis Research Society (for Patients and Family)
The Scoliosis Research Society is a professional organization with a primary focus on providing continuing medical education for health care professionals and on funding/supporting research in spinal deformities. Shriners Hospitals for Children, Twin Cities
Shriners Hospitals for Children is a health care system located in Minneapolis, Minnesota providing care at no charge for children with orthopaedic conditions, burns, spinal cord injuries, and cleft lip and palate. Shriners Hospital for Children, Twin Cities, in collaboration with the Minnesota Department of Health, Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare, and the Twin Cities Spine Center, provide training on scoliosis screening for school nurses. Twin Cities Spine Center
Twin Cities Spine Center is a specialized clinic located in Minneapolis, Minnesota which provides complete management of spinal diseases and disorders.  The Twin Cities Spine Center, in collaboration with the Minnesota Department of Health, Shriners Hospitals for Children, and Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare, provide training on scoliosis screening for school nurses.  To learn more about scoliosis and the Twin Cities Spine Center, select the "Patient Care" tab in the top header, then select "Patient Education" in the list on the right side of the "Patient Care" page, under "Patient Education," select "Conditions and Treatment."  From the list, select "Scoliosis."

Minnesota Department of Health - Minnesota Children & Youth with Special Health Needs
Minnesota Children & Youth with Special Health Needs (CYSHN) is a section of the Minnesota Department of Health which provides statewide leadership through partnerships with key stakeholders including families, children and youth with special health care needs (CYSHCN), providers, public health and other state and/or community organizations for the purpose of improving the access and quality of, health care and other service systems that are designed to meet the needs of CYSHCN and their families.
