Population Health Assessment Quarterly - Center for Health Statistics
The Population Health Assessment Quarterly (PHAQ) is produced by the Center for Health Statistics. It uses assessment data from a variety of sources to describe specific health-related topics as completely as possible, with a particular emphasis on those population subgroups most affected. Each issue focuses on a particular topic and past issues include infant mortality, motor vehicle crashes and adolescent health.

Population Health Assessment Quarterly Summer 2003 (PDF: 89KB/8 pages)
"Adolescent Health Among Minnesota's Racial/Ethnic Groups: Progress and Disparities." This issue uses survey data to look at changes in the health and well-being of adolescents from different racial-ethnic groups in Minnesota. Survey results suggest that smoking, early sexual activity, and bringing weapons to school have decreased in most racial-ethnic groups in recent years.
