Children's Environmental Health
Research and Data
The Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) undertakes research projects to study the risks to children from hazards in the environment. Research studies and surveillance systems are useful in quantifying children's exposures and assessing risks. Results from these studies and data collection initiatives help the MDH assess which hazards are of greatest concern, prioritize work, and develop programs and policies.
