Stakeholder Informational Meetings
Minnesota Food Code Rule Revision

The Minnesota Departments of Health and Agriculture (MDH and MDA) will host food code stakeholder informational meetings around the state during Fall 2013. All interested parties are encouraged to participate. MDH and MDA staff will be at all stakeholder informational meetings. They will provide information on what will be new in the code, and will be able to answer specific questions from stakeholders.

Who should attend stakeholder meetings?

Those interested in hearing about some of the proposed revisions to the Minnesota Food Code, and those with questions on the proposed changes, should plan on attending one of the meetings. There will be additional meetings once the proposed draft language is available.

What is the purpose of stakeholder meetings?

Stakeholders will have the opportunity to discuss and ask questions about the proposed changes to and updates of the code. All comments are welcome. Unfortunately, the draft rule language is not available at this time. There will be another set of meetings once the proposed draft rule language is available.

When and where are stakeholder meetings being held?

Meetings are planned in the metro area, Mankato and Duluth.   Please see the schedule above. Additional meetings will be scheduled. If interested in having a meeting in your area, please contact us.

How can I participate if I can’t make it to one of the stakeholder meetings?
