St. Regis Paper Company: Soils - Health Consultation

This document summarizes health concerns associated with soils at the St. Regis Superfund site in Cass Lake Minnesota.  It is based on a formal site evaluation prepared by the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) in collaboration with the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR) and Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe (LLBO).

Comments received during the public comment period have been incorporated into the final draft of the Health Consultation. This health consultation is the first in a series of reports evaluating possible health impacts associated with environmental exposure to the St Regis Superfund site contamination in Cass Lake, Minnesota. Health consultations reviewing surface water and groundwater, lake sediments and fish are being drafted, opened for public comment.
