Toxicological Studies for PFBA

At the request of the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) 3M funded a short-term (28 day exposure) study and a subchronic (90 day exposure) study to evaluate the toxicity of perfluorobutanoic acid (PFBA) in laboratory animals. These two studies are made available here in response to a request made at the legislature's PFC Oversight meeting on December 14, 2007.  These studies will be considered together with other sources of toxicological information as MDH determines a health based value for PFBA.
