The Minnesota Departments of Health has begun the process to revise its rules regulating air quality in enclosed sports arenas, Minnesota Rules, Chapter 4620, parts 4620.3900 through 4620.4900. The department's primary objectives for the rule revision include:

    • Ensuring that air-quality standards are consistent with current health-risk data
    • Separating the rule into distinct sections for indoor ice arenas and indoor motorsports applications
