Grant Administrator Information

The purpose of the Program is to identify and correct lead based paint hazards in homes occupied by low and moderate income families with children under six years of age. The primary responsibility for managing the grant program is with the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) in partnership with the MN Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED).  Dan Taylor, Lead Hazard Control (LHC) Grant Manager for MDH will provide day-to-day technical assistance.  Agencies administering Small Cities Development Program (SCDP) grants will be eligible for funding and will carry out the implementation and administration of the LHC Program on the basis of executed grant agreements with MDH.

Grant Administrator eligibility:

  • Must be an agency administering SCDP rehabilitation projects or administering another state or federal housing rehabilitation program.
