Lead Poisoning Prevention
M-CLEAN (Minnesota Collaborative Lead Education and Assessment Network) changing to HHōM (Healthy Homes Minnesota)
As the number of elevated lead cases continues to decline, thanks to the hard work and dedication of the many diverse partners in Minnesota addressing childhood lead poisoning, the MDH Lead Program is transitioning to the MDH Healthy Homes and Lead Poisoning Prevention Program.
As part of our new funding from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), we will be working over the next year with a collaborative group to create a Strategic Plan for healthy housing in Minnesota. This will involve a number of meetings throughout the end of 2011 and most of 2012.
Therefore, we are temporarily suspending the MCLEAN meetings until the Healthy Homes Strategic Plan is completed.
Once the Plan is done, we will resume twice-yearly meetings under the new Healthy Homes Minnesota (HHōM) title.
Please contact Daniel Symonik (651-201-4928) if you are interested in participating.
