Industrial Radiographer Exams

Any individual who examines the structure of materials by nondestructive methods utilizing ionizing radiation (radioactive sources or x-rays) to make radiographic images must be certified if they operate in Minnesota. Certification means that individuals meet established radiation safety, testing, and experience criteria. (Note: Individuals who use a cabinet x-ray or an x-ray fluorescent analyzer are not required to be certified.)
