Description:

Abstract:

Inner wellhead management zone (IWMZ) means the land within a 200-foot radius of a public water supply well. For Transient Non-Community (TNC) wells it is also the wellhead protection area.

Purpose:

This dataset was developed with the intention of protecting the public drinking water supply and complies with the federal Safe Drinking Water Act, United States Code, title 42 and the State of Minnesota Rule (parts 4720.5100 to 4720.5590).
