Metro District Water Operators School

Conducted by the Minnesota Section American Water Works Association and the Minnesota Department of Health

The next Metro District School will be Tuesday, March 31 to Thursday, April 2, 2015 at the Ramada Mall of America Hotel (formerly the Thunderbird), 2300 American Boulevard East, Bloomington 55425, 952-854-3411.

Participants will receive 16 credit hours for their attendance.

The opening speaker on March 31 will be meteorologist Paul Douglas.

The featured speaker at the April 2 breakfast will be Michael Monroe Kiefer of Powermind Training.

The 2016 Metro School will be at the Ramada Plaza in Minneapolis from Tuesday, April 5 to Thursday, April 7.

The school is $175 ($210 after March 16).

Tours will be held Wednesday morning. Attendees can sign up for a tour on Tuesday morning during registration. Some of the tours are limited to a certain number (including the Target Field Water Treatment tour, which is limited to 40). Sign-ups are on a first-come, first-served basis, and the person signing up must be present (no signing up other people who aren't yet there).


Agenda

Registration begins at 6:45 a.m. and sessions begin at 8:15 a.m. on Tuesday. The breakfast on Wednesday begins at 7:30 a.m., and the vendor on Thursday begins at 8:30.
