Northwest District Water Operators School
Conducted by the Minnesota Section American Water Works Association and the Minnesota Department of Health
The 2012 school will be held from Tuesday, November 27 to Thursday, November 29 at the Holiday Inn on the Lake, 1155 Highway 10 East, Detroit Lakes 56501, 877-251-9348.
A block of guest rooms at a special rate of $72.95 plus tax per night is being held until October 27. Call 877-251-9348 and mention AWWA when booking. You can also book a guest room on-line.
Registration for the school is $130, $140 after November 12 or at the door.
Participants will receive 16 credit hours for their attendance.
Applications for the certification exam must be received by the Minnesota Department of Health at least 15 days before the exam. To receive an exam application, contact Noel Hansen at 651-201-4690 or Mark Sloan at 651-201-4652.
A taste test will be held during the product show on November 29. Participants are encouraged to bring a gallon of water from their cities.
