Education Programs
"RESCHEDULED" - MDH Mankato District Meeting, is rescheduled for Monday afternoon, April 29, 2013, at the Blue Earth County Government Center in Mankato.
Training calendar updated monthly.
Continuing education requirements apply to license renewal of individual well contractors and representatives of limited well and boring contractors, monitoring well contractors, elevator boring contractors, and well contractors. Monitoring well contractors' registration expire December 31 of each year. All other well contractor license types have licenses that expire January 31 of each year.
A contact hour is granted for approved continuing education sessions when the training continues for 50 minutes. Renewal of a license type listed above requires successfully completing six contact hours per year. Continuing education contact hours cannot be "banked" or saved from previous years for future license or registration renewal. Sign-up sheets are usually used to document and verify attendance.
The continuing education activity must be related to wells and borings, drilling technology, groundwater contamination, health aspects of water quality, groundwater monitoring, geology, hydrology, well construction and sealing, water systems and water treatment, or other subjects approved by the MDH.
