Family Planning

"The Centers for Disease Control characterizes family planning as one of the 'Ten Great Public Health Achievements of the 20th Century' because of its opportunity for prevention and the impact on morbidity and mortality."

Family planning information and services help women and men make informed choices about the timing and spacing of childbearing. The family planning program provides leadership, technical support, public information and education and funds to family planning service providers.
