Do we have to select another clinic from the Clinic drop-down in Demographics to transfer a participant that may be changing to another clinic in our agency or can we wait until the participant comes to the other location to pick up their benefits? (01/11)
Transfers are most often initiated when the participant shows at a difference clinic from the clinic they are currently assigned to. You do not need to select the other clinic from within the Demographics tab of the Participant Folder to initiate a transfer.
However, users should be aware that you can transfer a participant between clinics within your agency by selecting a different clinic from the Clinic drop-down in Demographics.
You cannot change a BF woman’s category to NBF in the Participant Folder if the baby is older than 6 months. What do we do if a mom stops BF at 8 months? (01/11)
If a mom stops BF after her baby is 6 months old, you must terminate her current certification.
What is the difference between Not Currently Available and PENDING PROOF in the Proof of Income drop-down? (01/11)
Not Currently Available is only in the income Proof drop-down until roll-out is over. It is necessary to be able to convert all of the income records from CHIP to HuBERT. It should not be selected.
PENDING PROOF should be selected if the participant is unable to provide proof of income at the time of certification. The CPA must also select the Pending Proof of Income checkbox.
