Participant Search/List |
- In the On-Site list, participants are being toggled as they come in but the list cleared some of the names at some point this morning. Shouldn't this be an End-of-Day (EOD) process? (03/11)
- Does it impact anything if a participant is transferred to another agency in error? Should the correct agency be contacted so they can trasfer the participant back OR wait for the problem to fix itself the next time the participant contacts the appropriate agency? (03/11)
- Does comparing information on the Potential Duplicate Record window enough to eliminate duplicates, including those with hyphenated names? (03/11)

There are four different ways for participant to be removed from the On-Site list. Two are automatic:
- Participants are removed one benefits are issued.
- Any remaining participants at the end of clinic are removed during the EOD process.
Two are performed by the user:
- Toggle a person off by removing the checkmark in the "Toggle Participant/Applicant On-Site" pop-up window.
- Clear the entire list by using the "Clear On-Site List" option in the System Tools menu.
No. Currently, participant's appointments are not deleted from the schedule and their address and phone number are maintained. The one consideration is that the next time the person serving the participant looks for them in the Local database, they won't fiind them and will have to search the Statewide database.
It might be a good idea to write an alert (since they transfer immediately) to indicate you accidentally transferred the wrong participant, just so the staff person knows why the participant was in the Statewide instead of the Local database.
No. The function of the Potential Duplicate Record window that appears once prescreen is complete is to match any records with the same first three letters of the first name and last name and DOB. This is very limited functionality and in no way should be considered reliable enough to ascertain whether the participant already exists in the MN WIC database. You should always check statewide before prescreening a new participant.
