Will the on-line HuBERT training be available for new staff training after HuBERT implementation? (09/10)
Yes, the training is being developed in such a way that it can be used for both roll-out of the HuBERT application and on-going for new staff training.
However, due to the number of releases and changes made to the system since the training modules were made, they can only be considered up-to-date as of Release 2.10.
Can you save your location in a training module if you're interrupted? (09/10)
You can pause the training module for an indeterminate amount of time. If you need to close the module, you can always fast-forward to the slide you were on when interrupted.
What is the HuBERT playground? When will it be available? (12/09)
The concept of the HuBERT Playground is comparable to a CHIP training server. A training computer with the HuBERT application installed on it will be provided to all local agencies (or for those agencies with their own training/testing labs, the HuBERT application will be provided for installation). Users will be able to use HuBERT on these training computers to access a testing MN agency database that has been "scrubbed" to protect participant data privacy. They can then practice using HuBERT to make changes to the database by using the different screens and functions in HuBERT (i.e. prescreening, certifying, etc.).
Will training servers still be available for Local Agency training on HuBERT? (10/09)
For on-going training after roll-out, a training computer will be provided, upon request, which will have access to the HuBERT training environment, or "playground". The HuBERT application can also be provided to those agencies with testing/training labs for installation on those computers.
Prior to roll-out, a training computer will be provided to each Local Agency for hands-on practice (or the HuBERT application will be provided to those agencies that have training labs), which will be directed towards the training environment, or "playground".
