Compliance Monitoring Division Presents:
"Making the Communication Connection: The Nursing Home Survey Process"
The Minnesota Department of Health (MDH), with the assistance of the Minnesota Health and Housing Alliance (MHHA), and it's member nursing home St. Therese Home of New Hope, has produced a video that gives an overview of the communication process between all the parties involved during a federal survey. The video entitled "Making the Communication Connection: The Nursing Home Survey Process" is available in two formats, VHS and DVD.
MDH is supplying each nursing home and boarding care home with a packet that contains 1 DVD and 1 VHS copy of the video, and other information that can be used for training purposes at no cost. The video is 21:30 minutes in length and is recommended for inclusion in staff training programs.
Included in the informational packet are the following items:
- 1 VHS Tape - (21:30 Minutes Closed-Captioned) Full version of the film – no menu
- 1 DVD Stereo (mid-pan) Version with Menu - (21:30 Minutes Closed-Captioned)
