Plan Review

  • Plan Review Submittal Process
  • Plan Review Fee Schedule (Excel: 13KB)
In accordance with 2013 Minnesota Law Chapter 144 Section 554 Statute 144.554 a construction plan review fee schedule has been enacted. The value of the Construction Project Total Estimated Cost should include all costs associated with the project (materials, labor, and soft costs (finance charges, permits, and design)). For the purposes of estimating the value of materials, modular furniture, interior furnishings (including window treatments and privacy curtains), and equipment that are not installed as part of the building’s infrastructure are not considered materials. For example, CT, MRI, or X-ray machines are not considered materials. An air handling unit, exhaust hood, boiler, cooling tower, electrical circuit panel, emergency generator, and generator transfer switch are all considered materials. The total estimated project cost should be entered in the appropriate box at the bottom of the Construction Plan Review Submittal Form.
