Physician Educational Sessions

October 26, 2007 Minnesota Medical Director's Annual Meeting
The Minnesota Department of Health (MDH), along with the Minnesota Medical Directors Association (MMDA), is sponsoring two educational sessions related to the Federal Nursing Home F329 Unnecessary Medication Guidance.
A Statewide Phone Call will take place on Thursday, September 6, 2007 and educational sessions are scheduled during the October 26, 2007 MMDA Annual Meeting.
MDH has contracted with Steven A. Levenson, M.D., a national leader on the problem of unnecessary medications, to provide physician training. Dr. Levenson was a member of the CMS professional panel responsible for the revised F329 Guidance and a former president of the American Medical Directors Association.
MDH invites physicians and nursing facility staff statewide to take advantage of this unique training opportunity and learn more about the Unnecessary Medication Guidance.
The call on Thursday, September 6, 2007 will take place from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. (CST). The phone-in number to call is 1-888-928-9122. The pass code for the call is 15860. There is no cost.
