MDH Establishes Minimum Data Set 3.0 (MDS 3.0) Implementation Website


Minnesota Department of Health, Health Regulation Division announces the establishment of a Minnesota MDS 3.0 implementation website. The site will provide information specific to the implementation of MDS 3.0 in Minnesota. Information about educational opportunities provided by MDH and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS); links to resource materials such as the MDS 3.0 forms, manuals and data specifications; and changes to the case mix program related to MDS 3.0 will be posted on this site.

Action to Be Taken:

Nursing homes are encouraged to bookmark the following site and share it with staff who deals with MDS assessments. You can sign up for eSubscribe and every time there is an addition to the MDH 3.0 web page, a govdelivery notification will be sent you. MDH strongly encourages interested individuals to sign up to receive these at: Email Subscription Service or click on the eSubscribe icon on the Minnesota MDS 3.0 web page or the MDH home page. On the quick subscribe page under news and announcements select “Minimum Data Set MDS 3.0”.
