Preventing Wrong Site Surgery
Purpose:
These training sessions are intended for individuals who have responsibility for training staff on prevention of wrong-site and wrong-procedure events, or who have responsibility for auditing the time-out process. Content will include discussion of rationale for steps in the pre-surgical verification process, group activities related to the pre-op and time-out processes, and practice identifying drift in practice and auditing simulated time-outs.

Trainings will run from 8:30am - 3:00pm each day and a light breakfast and lunch will be served.
Content will be the same on each day; please register for just one session. As we anticipate demand will be high, space is limited to a total of forty (40) participants each day. There is a registration fee of $35.00 to participate.
