Arthritis doesn't have to slow you down!
The Minnesota Arthritis Program is committed to improving the quality of life for those affected by arthritis. Many people believe once you get arthritis, you just have to live with it. This isn't true. There are many things a person with arthritis can do to manage their pain and fatigue. There are more than 150 types of arthritis. It includes osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, fibromyalgia, juvenile arthritis, and gout. Arthritis is the leading cause of disability in the United States. Approximately 955,000 or 26 percent of Minnesota adults have physician-diagnosed arthritis. Children get arthritis too. |
