|Coach's Asthma Clipboard
The Coach’s Asthma Clipboard Program, “Winning With Asthma,” consists of a 30-minute online educational program created for coaches, referees and physical education teachers. Upon completing the program, the coach will receive a special clipboard detailing steps to take during an asthma attack, a certificate of completion, and a booklet that expands on asthma information written with coaches in mind. The program, is designed primarily for coaches working with young athletes, but it is appropriate for all age groups.

Who Should Use the Program?
This program was designed for children with asthma who live in the metro Atlanta (GA) area but it is also suitable for children who live in other urban areas. This “simulation” program is recommended for children eight years and older. Younger children should use the program with an older family member. As always, consult with your health care provider regarding questions specific to your or your family members asthma care.
The Zap Asthma online educational program is a collaborative work by Southern Polytechnic State University's Technical Communication Program and Atlanta's Zap Asthma consortium, with major funding provided by GlaxoSmithKline.
