Chronic Disease & Environmental Epidemiology

The Chronic Disease & Environmental Epidemiology (CDEE) Section at MDH protects the health of Minnesotans in several ways: gathering data on cancer, asthma, occupational disease and injury, and the public health burden of environmental exposures; preventing occupational disease and injury; informing environmental public health actions; and reducing the burden of asthma. The CDEE Section also responds to chronic disease issues from health care providers, members of the public, and state and national government agencies.
