What is the problem?

Populations Affected by Alcohol
  • Minnesota; males (both adult and 12th graders) are more likely to report binge drinking than females.
  • When looking at reports of drinking in the past month, adult Minnesotans who self-identify as White reported the highest rate of drinking, followed by American Indian, and Multiple Race/Other.
  • Latino, African American and Asian Minnesotans were the least likely to report drinking in the past month.
  • Binge drinking was more common for American Indian, White and Multiple Race/Other than any other race/ethnicity.
