The Minnesota Plan to Reduce Obesity and Obesity-Related Chronic Diseases encourages policy and environmental changes that support healthy eating, physical activity and achieving or maintaining a healthy weight.
The Plan represents a collaboration of statewide partners - including individuals representing state and local public health, state and local education agencies, transportation, parks and recreation, community and non-profit organizations, healthcare providers and insurers, academia, advocacy organizations, industry and chronic disease prevention partners - all working to improve the health of people in Minnesota.
