New Resources Available: School Health Guideline's to Promote Healthy Eating and Physical Activity

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) Division of Adolescent and School Health announced the release of newly developed resources to accompany the recent publication of CDC’s School Health Guidelines to Promote Healthy Eating and Physical Activity (Guidelines).  CDC has developed a PowerPoint® Presentation for public use as a way to introduce the Guidelines to individuals at education and health agencies and other stakeholders invested in student wellness.

Go4Life, an exercise and physical activity campaign from the National Institute on Aging at NIH, is designed to help fit exercise and physical activity into daily life. Motivating older adults to become physically active for the first time, return to exercise after a break in their routines, or build more exercise and physical activity into weekly routines are the essential elements of Go4Life.
