Working With the Media
Most organizations tend to overlook all the ways the media can help them deliver a message. Instead, they just invite them to attend an event or send an occasional news release. But it doesn't have to be that way. Ideally, it's best to designate someone to be the media resource specialist. This person doesn't need a media background to do the job, but they do need to be able to interact with the media, be resourceful, and always follow through.
