Request for Proposals for
the Minnesota Poison Control System

The Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) is soliciting proposals for the operation of a poison control system in Minnesota, which will serve the needs of the citizens of the state for prompt identification and appropriate home management or referral of cases of human poisoning.

MDH is seeking proposals for the grant period January 1, 2014 through December 31, 2018 for three program components: call response, professional education and public awareness. The department will award all components to one applicant.

It is anticipated that $1,629,000 will be available for each year of the grant period.

Completed proposals must be received by 4:00 p.m. CST, Tuesday, November 12, 2013. Late proposals will not be considered.
