The Minnesota Environmental Public Health Tracking (MN EPHT) Program gathers and analyzes data about environmental health hazards, people's exposure to hazards, and health effects.
By making these data available in one place, hazard, exposure, and health data may be used to:
- Help people and communities make healthy choices
- Protect children, the environment, and future generations
- Evaluate and measure the effectiveness of public health actions and policy
See Tracking in Action for examples of how tracking and biomonitoring data are used.

MN EPHT activities are guided by Minnesota Statutes and under cooperative agreement with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, National Environmental Public Health Tracking Program.
For additional information about environmental public health tracking, see Frequently Asked Questions or Contact MN EPHT.
