Health Economics Program (HEP)

Since 1993, the Minnesota State Legislature has directed the Department of Health to submit annual reports analyzing the effects of Minnesota's competitive health care market on the financing of medical education and research and to propose initiatives to rectify apparent discrepancies between the costs incurred by teaching institutions and the revenues they receive.
