Q: How long does it take before I receive my license?
A: Once your application has been received by the Minnesota Department of Health
staff, it will take approximately 2-4 weeks for you to receive your license
or a correspondence regarding the status of your license.
Q: I have a job and I need
to start right away. Can I start practicing before I receive my license?
A. No. You must be licensed before practicing occupational therapy services.
