This database allows you to search for a funeral establishment or mortician by name, city, or county.

List of Funeral Establishments  (PDF:42k/ 19 Pages)

"Funeral Establishment" means any place or premise devoted to or used in the holding, care, or preparation of a dead human body for final disposition or any place used as the office or place of business of any person that provides funeral goods or services to the public. More than one license can be issued to a single location. This is an alphabetical listing of all licensed funeral establishments with their address, phone number, and license number.

List of Funeral Directors by Last Name  (PDF:8k/ 1 Page)

Funeral Directors have a limited license and represent a group of individuals who have been licensed for more than 50 years. It includes all licensees practicing and not practicing.

List of Morticians by Last Name  (PDF:87k/ 40 Pages)

An alphabetical listing of morticians and funeral directors, their license number, address, and phone number. Since 1957, Minnesota has issued a single "Mortician" license that is a combination Funeral Director/Embalmer license.

List of Crematory Establishments  (PDF:12k/ 2 Pages)

"Crematory" means a building or structure containing one or more cremation chambers or retorts for the cremation of dead human bodies. A licensed crematory cannot provide services to the public. If a crematory chooses to provide services to the public, it must obtain a Funeral Establishment license. Most funeral establishments provide cremation services and many crematories have Funeral Establishment licenses.

An alphabetical listing of all cities that have funeral establishments. The listing includes the information on the funeral establishment and the names and license numbers of the morticians working at the location. A single location having more than one funeral establishment license or a crematory license may have multiple listings.
