Data Security Guidelines
- Data Security and Confidentiality
The CDC Data Security and Confidentiality Guidelines describe the data security guidelines that are necessary to follow in order to be a part of the eHARS to CAREWare Project. Data abstracted from the HIV Surveillance system and shared with the Minnesota CAREWare system must follow these guidelines in order to comply with the standards issued from CDC. This document contains examples and other resources available to ensure the security of the information stored in these systems.
