MRSA Recommendations
This report serves as the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) Recommendations for methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) control in acute care settings as required under Minnesota Statutes, section 144.585. The MDH MRSA Recommendations were created in January 2008 and updated in March 2013.

Minnesota Statue 144.585. This is the 2007 Minnesota Statute that requires hospitals to establish a MRSA control program that meets the MDH recommendations that will be published January 15, 2008. States the infection control practices that MDH must consider in developing the MRSA recommendations.
